This is Shuyang, he started his first lesson with me at the beginning of this year.
In June, he took his first exam and awarded with Honours.
He was really excited to hear the awesome news and wanted to skip to grade 2 ABRSM piano exam before he goes back to Shanghai next year.

Well done Shuyang! Looking forward to another great result in grade 2! :D
Carol, one of my adult piano students, started her lesson with me in 2014.
She wanted to learn pieces that she loves as well as to improve her piano technique.
As the lesson went along the way, Carol expressed the interest to challenge herself by doing AMEB piano exam grade 5! She definitely succeed the challenge as she received an A!
Well done Carol! Keep up the good work! :D
Here is a short video of Carol's first participation at RMDS End of Year Recital 2014:

This is Kezia. She started her lesson with me from the beginning of the year, when she was 4 years old. She was a quiet and shy girl during her first few lessons, but then she started to show an amazing progress and becoming a very cheerful and bubbly little girl.
Kezia learns her piano pieces from the AMEB Pplate series, and she always learn a new piece every week. By the end of the year, she has more than 10+ pieces to play, including some Christmas tunes.
Take a look at Kezia's adorable first performance at our concert:
Luana was really excited to receive her AMEB Pplate Piano license!
She memorised all 3 exam pieces and even the examiner complemented her performance.
Now she is ready to face the graded exam.
Luana sets a goal to do 2 piano exams by the end of 2016.
Well done Luana! Keep up the good work!
Josh is a brilliant young boy who loves both sports, language and music.
He always strive to do the best in what he does.
Josh started his piano journey with AMEB Piano for Leisure preliminary up to grade 2.
(which he always get an A grading)
In 2014 we decided to take up another challenge by switching to Classical stream.
He obtained Honours in Grade 3, and this year he received High Distinction (A+) for his Grade 4 exam.
Josh was really excited to hear the news, even his parents too!
I am really proud of Josh of what he has achieved and to see how much improvement he has made from the first time he started his lesson with me in 2009.

I am very excited to receive the first exam result in 2015,
especially when the student gets a Distinction award!
We only had a few months to prepare for this exam and hard work certainly pays off!
Now that Stefi has this wonderful theory certificate, she can continue preparing for her first ABRSM and AMEB piano exams.
We chose to do grade 6 so she will be confident and hopefully less nervous when facing the exam :) Keep up the good work, Stefi!

We have received a wonderful news from ABRSM in regards to Alex, Daisy, Stefi and Shuyang's Piano exam result.
But I'm going to wait and give them a surprise when we start our 2016 lesson :D
